The New York Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the 20th overseas chapter of the Institute. It has been incorporated under the State Laws of New York on 09th April, 2008 by filing Certificate of Incorporation with the Department of State. Thereafter, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India approved its formation under 278th meeting of Institute's Central Council held during 13th-15th May, 2008. |

New York Chapter is the first chapter established in the United States of America. Since its establishment, Chapter's membership has been growing from strength to strength. We encourage you to get in touch with us and join the New York Chapter of ICAI.

New York Chapter is a milestone achievement for ICAI members based in the US. It will bridge the gap amongst its members in networking with each other. Furthermore, it will act as a crucial link in strengthening accounting profession with its peers in the US by acting inter alia between ICAI and other accountancy bodies of USA. The chapter will also strive to support guidance to its members who want to attain their CPA degree. This body will explore professional development opportunities for its members in the US. The establishment of New York Chapter is about showing consideration to others. Business of the chapter begins and ends with that simple precept.
